Experience the miracle of our seas through underwater viewing tanks and many other live displays. View endangered Stellar sea lions, harbor seals, sea birds and an amazing variety of deep sea fishes, up close and personal.

The Alaska Sealife Center, located at Mile 0 of the Seward Highway, is the world's first cold water marine institute, dedicated to preserving the marine environment through research, rehabilitation, and education.

Featuring fascinating interactive exhibits geared for both the young and young at heart, the Sealife Center is a must see stop for anyone visiting Southcentral Alaska.

Open year-round:

April 15 - September 15: 8 a.m. - 7 p.m.
September 16 - April 14: 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
