I agree wiv the bird (or could be a bloke?) that reckons this woman's got 'sour grapes' load of rubbish.... he obviously didn't wanna take any further and she did!

Anonymous said on 17/08/2007:
Dear anonymous 'who knows it all so well', I never had any intention to let someone look like an idiot. You should not forget that our masseur made the mistake and not me, that's what I wanted to warn other people for. If he only sticked to the massage I could have written him a good advertisement on this forum.....by the way I found out through another forum that I'm not the only one with this experience. And if people really worry about their business and professional life, they should act upon it!

Anonymous said on 17/08/2007:
No friend, no, but I'm a bit miffed at how someone can write on here that they've had a 'bad experience', not only did you NOT do anything about it, but you're also saying that you continued with the massage?!!! Did you NOT feel uncomfortable with him touching you if you are saying that he was not professional?! See your story falls apart... the only one looking like an idiot is actually you. I'd say think twice before you make any allegations about people that could affect their business and professional life.

Anonymous said on 16/08/2007:
Dear Anonymous, Your reaction to my bad experience with Bayram Arie is the exact reason why I didn't go to the police. I'm also wondering if your a friend of Bayram.... Dear Kazz, It's true that his massage is good, also that was my experience before the massage turned into the erotic part. As I told him that wasn't the kind of massage I came for, he continued the good work. So apart from this incident I got my money worth while. The fact that he tried, makes him a non professional in my opinion.

Anonymous said on 16/08/2007:
The person who claims that Bayram does erotic massage is just another case of 'sour grapes' - she probably fancied him and he's blanking her...If you're claims are true, why don't you go to the police instead of trying to smear people?

Anonymous said on 16/08/2007:
can any1 tell me if dalyan is open over christmas??? i am thinking of goin boxing day and im not sure if anything is open there!!! PLEASE HELP xxx

kazz said on 16/08/2007:
You must have had a bad experiance with BAYRAM,a number of us visited him with various problems shoulders/backs etc. and none of us paid in advance and he was proffesional in every way and whatsmore eased the problems..maybe some people booked an appointment and didn't bother to turn up..

Anonymous said on 15/08/2007:
Dalyan is very okay, but if you want a massage, don't go to Bayram Arie in the mainstreet. This guy is far from professional! You have to pay him in advance, because you might walk away angry after he starts his erotic part of the massage!!! So your warned. Pass it on, pass it on....

Thanks for the feedback.I will try them both in September and let you know the result. I used the little place opposite the fruit bar for the last couple of years which was really good for soups and kebabs but have have been informed the place no longer exists.

Anonymous said on 09/08/2007:
yes i also agree with you del the soup there is soo much better than ali baba's, it tastes so much better! i would deffinatly reccomoed it aswel, they have so many to choose from aswel.

del said on 09/08/2007:
you mean ali baba's yes its still open but i wouldnt reccomend the soup from there, theres a much nicer place if you want realy good soup, its near the bank where the big roundabout is in dalyan, its where all the turkkish people go so it must be good, its open 24 hours a day 7 days a week its good value and good food!! i think you should try that one out and let me no what you think of it.

10th Sept for me..taking friends who havn't been before just know that they will love it.. think i will be adventurous and try a few new restaurants as i usually stick to the same half dozen or so..noticed yesterday that a couple of holiday companies have cut down on their choice of accommodation for 2008 & that COSMOS have pulled out of DALYAN altogether.. this will make things even more difficult for the Dalyan traders who have already seen a downturn over the last couple of years...

I travelled around Turkey. which is a lovely country. great nature and very friendly people.. some of them are too friendly. well well i just wanted to share some of my experiences in Turkey. so you can be more carefull about your choices.Well i booked a hotel through by a company call Icem Tours. Such a disaster. They sent me a Hotel thats closed. no transfer provided or anything. All was wrong.. i called them up. They apologized and sent me to another Hotel which they told me thats a 5 stars Hotel.. when i arrived it was 3 stars Hotel in Bodrum. And i thought my reservation has been made for one week. and i found out it was for 5 days..that wasnt what i asked for. i didnt want to stay in that hotel anyway. It was horrible..I called them up and asked for my money back and couldnt get it back..im going to sue them. So thanks god im wealthy.. if i wouldnt. that would be so difficult for me to carry on my holiday.. i enjoyed bodrum.. but that agency gave me a real headache. so please be careful about your choices.. booking your hotels from a right company.. i tried Icem tours which was a real mistake

Saying that tourists are complaining about them .....They collect them and dump in the mountains no food no water .....there is NO animal shelter in Dalyan . The most effective way to solve this problem is by lobbying the autorities to fullfill their obligations to the street animals and the town under the law 5199 ...

simon, you will find dalyan very different to fethiye and olu deniz. i am a regular visitor or dalyan, but have been to fethiye and olu deniz. prepare for a pleasant suprise if you like to immerse yourself in the turkish culture. the 2 resorts you mention are a bit more 'fish and chip land' compared to dalyan. have a great time

simon said on 10/07/2007:
i normally do eat the traditional turkish breakfasts as weve been to Turkey the last 4 years but sometimes once in a while during the 2 weeks its nice to have a nice fry up especially after a few efes dark.and as for not indulging in the culure like anonymous wrote there is nobody more than myself and family who like to indulge in the Turkish culture as we are regular visitors to the country but not yet tried Dalyan as weve normally been to olu deniz and fethye region.

Victoria said on 10/07/2007:
Simon - as it's your first visit to Dalyan why not try eating traditional turkish breakfasts - yoghurt, honey, fruit, cheese etc. Save the english breakfasts for when you are at home.

Are all these dogs that keep people awake at night the same dogs that cop off with the local boys? Just wondered...

Anonymous said on 05/07/2007:
It's very easy for people that haven't been kept awake most of the night for their holiday by a neighbours barking alsatian, to say 'relax and chill out' - with all the good will and intention, even YOU would get to end of the holiday looking forward to sleeping in your own bed!

Anonymous said on 05/07/2007:
poeple get over the dogs your on holiday to relax and chill out not stress over the DOG'S!!!!

Anonymous said on 04/07/2007:

Anonymous said on 04/07/2007:
I think people that claim to be chased by a dog on a motorcycle need to stop drinking so much! Dogs don't drive motorbikes and if they could, they'd drive better than the locals

Beth said on 04/07/2007:
I've seen dogs chasing motorbikes in Dalyan. No one got hurt. No one looked scared. Maybe you were being chased, anonymous, but to be frank if I was a Dalyan street dog I'd chase you out of my town too. Anyone ever actually been brutally attacked by one of Dalyan's street cats and dogs? Unlikely.

Anonymous said on 04/07/2007:
Realy well if you have never seen the dogs chasing cars and motorbikes you have obiously not spent enough time in dalyan or your just not very observent as i see it happening nearly everyday!!!!!

Charlotte said on 04/07/2007:
I have never had a problem with the dogs or cats in Dalyan and am surprised so many people do, however I have never been chased by on on a motor bike "but they can get annoying sometimes when they chase you on motorbikes and bark away at you";). On a more serious note as a UK Veterinary surgeon I would be happy to help with a neutering program if anyone wants to set one up. However vasectomising helps keep the numbers down more as males retain their terriatorial nature and therefore stop new un-neutered males entoring thier terratory

Anonymous said on 04/07/2007:
Think these complaints also relate to dogs barking at night that are NOT strays, but that are 'annoyed' by the poor strays wandering the streets. I have heard several people say that it would be unlikely they return to Dalyan (at least not same area) as they go on holiday to relax, not to be kept up all night for the length of their holiday by barking dogs, so unfortunately, it's not only the dogs that are sentenced here, it's also Dalyan tourism

Anonymous said on 04/07/2007:
DOGS in Dalyan First of all there is no company from Fethiye collectıng Dalyan dogs. Because every council must have their own animal rehabilition centres according to Turkish law (5199) The council have to neuter and return them to where they were found. If the dogs are aggressive they have to keep them in kennels. So, there is a kennel in Fethiye but it is just for the dogs in that area. Dalyan Council do not take the stray dogs to that centre, what they do in fact is use tranquilliser darts to catch them and take them to the mountaıns and dump them there to starve to death. There are no kennels in Dalyan and these dogs are definitely not being sent to Fethiye. If you see them beıng collected it means they are being sentenced to death (Thanks to whoever complains about the dogs in Dalyan). SO instead of complaining why don't you put pressure on the Dalyan council fulfıl theır responsıbılıtıes under the law to use the Neuter and Return model and provıde vet-controlled kennels for newly-operated and problem dogs. People's complaints mean death sentences for Dalyan's street DOGS and CATS. THANK YOU!

SOFRA BAR good bar, good music, good service, luv ya ahsen xxx

Anonymous said on 03/07/2007:
the reason why there are so many cats and dogs on the street this year is because usualy at the beggining and end of the season a company from fethiye come to collet all the stray animals and take them to a compound where there looked after, but unfortunaly they didnt come at the beggining of this season...... but i do feel sorry for the animals because when there puppys/kittens people use them to get customers into there shops, restaurants, bars then as soon as they loose there cute puppy face and grow up they simply just throw them out on the streets!! but they can get annoying sometimes when they chase you on motorbikes and bark away at you, it can be quite frightening sometimes especialy when there big dogs!!

Anonymous said on 03/07/2007:
dalyan has finaly got busiyer and the season has begun!!! wuhoooo

Anonymous said on 03/07/2007:
Yes the reason why you cant right messages on BAR's and RESTAURANT's is because one of the bar owners complained to kaunos about some of the messages written about their bar, even thought i have seen alot more disturbing things written about other bars and people!! but they never complained about it!!!! so thats why we cant write on there anymore!!!!!!!

Beth said on 03/07/2007:
I've just come back from my first holiday in Dalyan and can't believe the number of people who are complaining about the street dogs!! Good grief, they're one of the main reasons I'm going to go back in September! Yes, they bark, they're dogs and they're just looking after their territory. It seems unfortunate that people have become so deluded that they think humans are the only species that have a right to wander this planet. If you're visiting a conservation area like Dalyan you should expect to see nature. The street dogs of Dalyan are a natural dog pack with their own little hierarachy - it's fascinating if you stop and watch for a moment. Leave them be and they won't bother you, feed them and fuss them and you'll have friends for life. Dalyan is the most welcoming and friendly town I have ever had the good fortune to visit and anyone looking for a bit of Britain with sunshine, go to bloody Marmaris - Dalyan doesn't need your sort, it's fine just the way it is.

I am coming to Dalyan since 15 years, and there were many dogs years ago. But now...???? Shut up and stay in england if u dont like nature..;-)

Whoever dislikes animals (DOGS) like (11.06.2007 )Mr. Paul Pearson should know that all strreet animals are protected by Turkish law 5199. It ıs the responsibility of the Town Council to deal wı ith this problem according to the law, something they so far have been unwilling or unable to implement despite earning lots of revenue from Dalyan's tourists. Tourism in Dalyan is actually unaffected by the street animal situation. İt it completely the result of lack of vision and understanding of the needs of tourists that Dalyan's streets are empty. Poor services, a lack of good accomodation and shopping plus poor marketing of a fantastic place are the main reason for the drop in tourism. The town preaches the mantra of Caretta Caretta and nature as the reason to visit, yet seems intent on neglecting the positives by degrading what is already here and known by the thousands of our regular visitors. Get real Dalyan.....

Dear Dalyan Residents Please do not try to change our lives. We cows, frogs, cats and dogs have been living in this area for ages in peace. We did not have any animal rights defenders as you have in your countries but for all these years Dalyaners loved, fed and took care of us. But some of you have made complaints to the Municipality to remove us just because we bark. We are dogs, of course we bark (in order to protect you), you cannot expect us to speak. Thankfully under Turkish Law the rights of animals are now protected. You liked Dalyan because of how it is! You mostly bought houses here to live for some of the time only, so please do not try to change it . You claim that frogs, sheep, cows, cats and dogs smell badly, make a lot of noise and disturb you. So why did you choose to live here? We do not live here within high garden walls or in holiday homes we live in the open as we have always done. Dalyan is a place where there still is natural life continuing, where nature is protected. This world belongs to all of us. We want to share this world with you and do more than just survive. If everything was created to benefit humans, we should discard the Theory of Evolution and start rewriting the history of mankind.

Hello, I am just 2 weeks away from my next holiday to the amazing Dalyan, and needless to say I am so very excited!! We went there last year and stayed an my uncles Villa. It was an amazing holiday and I will be going back there for many years to come. People tend to think that Dalyan is a booring place and full of older people. However you couldnt be more wrong! It is brilliant both during the day and in the evenings. The food there is amazing (the chinese is superb!!) I really do hope that the BINGO thing isn't true - however it doesnt take away from the fact that the food is gorgeous! Before I go I need to give the one and only BLUE BAR a mention! This is by far THE BEST bar in Dalyan. The owners Lisa and Engin are amazing and the atomosphere is one of the most welcoming I have ever seen! Not to forget that BLUE BAR is home to the BEST barman in Dalyan ASKIN!!! He is so funny, and lovely!! Please make sure you go there, because I can guarentee you will have a wonderful time. Happy Holidays!!! Amie x

I have just returned from my 5th holiday to Dalyan and I'm now booking my next- 3 weeks in August. Me and my family cannot get enough of it! The people are amazing, the food is beautiful and the village itself it just gorgeous. We are even looking into buying property and living out there. I recommend Dalyan to all ages- my grandparents who are 72 have been going or over 10 years and my little brother who's 7 has been more times than me! Ignore the silly comments about barking dogs and mosquitos, who cares? These are minor problems which don't affect your stay in Dalyan. If you are going to Dalyan anytime soon, please visit the Sea Breeze restaurant in the square and tell them Sara recommended to eat there. The food is delicious and the staff are great! Enjoy!

All these people moaning about cats & dogs - get a life!!! You are visiting a foreign country and stray animals are going to be a part of that. The local's don't always have the money/facilities to get animals neutered and they may not even see it as a problem. If Turkey is not sanitised or westernised enough for you I suggest you stick to Blackpool or Bognor. Next you'll all be moaning that you can't get bacon....

Carla said on 11/06/2007:
I couldn't agree more about this problem of the barking dogs. The problem seems to be stray dogs 'pestering' dogs on chains at night - of course these dogs sleep during the day! I dread the sleepless nights when I go to Dalyan - hdardly a holiday. We once approached a neighbour about their dog (quite a large one) that barks very loudly most of the night. His reply was ' well of course he barks, he's a dog' They need a dog rescue centre. I'd be very interested to know where you stayed, Paul and if it's anywhere near where I am!

Recent visit to Dalyan, Having just returned from Dalyan, (the second visit in 2 months) having spoken to many people and having read many articles about the "lack" of tourists in and around Dalyan, and the opinions for the low attendances, i.e. world cup and bird flue for 2006, Iraq war 2005, Euro 2004 for the previous year, also that foreigners are buying and illegally renting out properties, reducing "income" at Dalyan, the renting out of these properties promotes Dalyan to the owners friends and families, who without this opportunity either would not visit Dalyan, or even Turkey !! Dalyans biggest stigma, and Dalyans biggest reason for complaint,(3 separate family friends have loved their holiday, but refuse to revisit) is due to the torrent of barking dogs thro-out the village, thro-out the night, This is a local problem that needs urgent attention before the Dalyan dogs become a future problem, and a future Iraq war, world cup, reason for the tourist not visiting Dalyan, but going elsewhere instead, People read in the brochures about a lovely secluded, unspoilt, tranquil, peaceful retreat, when infact, Marmaris would be quieter, at least at around 2am, 3am the clubbers go home or go to bed !!! SOME THING NEEDS TO BE DONE ! are the tourists, along with there money, more important than the HUNDREDs of dogs more important? regards, a concerned writer, Paul

We are staying at the Planetree Apts this year but last year stayed in the Asur Apartments which is great for families..... We had a problem with Mozzies last June so I would imagine August is going to be just as bad if not worse.... Have a great time!

If you are worried about them geting board why not stay in Dalyan for two weeks and go on boat trips for days its great both out at sea or on the lake in August and good value you can hire one just for your group. Dalyan resot hotel is one of the best (and expensive) hotels in Dalyan. I am sure all the kids will love their holliday its a great place, thats why so many familys go back year after year. The mosseys are bad but you just need to put pleanty of repelant on befor you go out at night. Wishing you a great holliday whatever you decide to do, good luck.

i have know mustafa for 8 years now.i have spent a great deal of time with not only him and his wife but also with the rest of the family.he is a genuine honest person who is very happy with his life. i dont know why some nasty person is trying to make problems.like the person has just said before maybe you did not know there is an easy way of tracing where these comments come from or maybe you dont care. but who ever you are you should crawl back into the dirt pit you came from and leave good people to get on with their lives. also i have been going to dalyan for 9 years now and always have a great time.me and my family get treated with respect and have made many good friends over the years. i dont understand why so many people can be bothered to waste their time writting such horrible stupid messages about the place and the people. if you dont like it then simply dont go back. but these evil comments may be a bit of fun for the stupid people writting them but you are messing with real peoples lives, livelyhoods and their familys. enough!!!

Hi we visited dalyan in september 06 and we stayed at the most fantastic private villa i think i have ever set eyes on. Set just outside of the town "Villa Susan" was everything we had hoped for! clean, tidy a home from home really apart from the added private pool which i really do wish i had at home! When we did eat out we found the dalyan rests fab, gr8 town all round. I would like to pass on where u can find this villa as i hope every1 who travels to dalyan in the future has a gr8 time just like we did and Villa Susan really made it. Find it here: villarenters ref:23386 well worth the money! a bargin! great site by the way

Just back from another great holiday in Dalyan. Alot has changed in the 14 years we've been going but the atmosphere and the people just get better and better. We're english girls and we have travelled to Dalyan independantly and with our partners. The attention can be flattering and if you want to go for it then great, enjoy the romance while it lasts but don't seriously expect anything to come from it. If not, just relax and enjoy yourself and enjoy the spirit of Dalyan!!

Hello, Ive just been in Dalyan for 1 week(21-28 okt) and was looking back on the internet(nice site). I want back again :( Great place, great holiday. Because it is not very busy you see the same people again and again. In the middle of the town there is a patisserie, with great cake and baklava. I dont know the name but it is in front of a restaurant where you can eat at the second floor. We ate baklava there almost every evening and two girls(I think they talked english) were there every evening. I have also seen them on the beach one time(its really a small town yes ;) ) and in the plane back home i thought it was a shame that I never talked with them. I hope that they will visit this site too and contact me, jtl2312(at)hotmail(dot)com . Others who read this cant help me, but if one of you reads this im sure you know. Probably ill be back in dalyan next year. :) Greetings from the netherlands (ps. I wanted to post this also on dalyanforum, but havent received a confirmation mail after the registration.)

I was in Dalyan for xmas/New Year 2002. I was in a group of 30 and we stayed at the Hotel Calypso. We had Turkish New Year at the hotel and then went to the Jazz Bar for the English one. It was a great holiday - warm (although sometimes wet) during the day and freezing at night. Not may places were open but the market and a few bars were still open.

We loved Dalyan- and we were ablw to take care of all our neccessitiees- room and board, activities, etc through your site. our favorite bar however- the albatross bar- we do not see mentioned. this bar had a great staff who jazzed up our drinks out of kindness, had great music, and was located away from the many other brs which allowed you to 1) listen to one song as opposed to multiple songs being broadcast by the different bars and 2) people watch as people walked up and down the road as oppose to bars located across from restaurants or other bars.

I love the people - they are so friendly and genuine. We always stay at the Club Alla Turca and it is excellent. All the staff are great and they cannot do enough for you. My favourite restaurant is the Simarik (The old Mulberry) and Guzin and Nihat are wonderful. Can't wait to get back in September. We have made lots of friends and my best friend Di and her husband Dave were there with us in June for Di's 50th Birthday which was fantastic. Our other friends Sally and John have their own house there so we always meet up with them. Graham and Joyce usually stay at the Keskin but they have hired a villa for the month of September so I am looking forward to visiting with them. I am just hoping my best friend Di can come in September also. Looking forward to getting back again.

Dalyan is a great place for a relaxing holiday. We were there from the 7th to 15th October and the weather was just right (late 20’s °C), with just one bad day of thunderstorms. The breeze at the beach made sunbathing very pleasant. The bars and restaurants are superb. We didn’t have cause for complaint from any of them. Our favourite restaurant was Beyaz Gul. Great food and a fantastic location overlooking the lighted Lycian rock tombs. The atmosphere was very laid back. Favourite bars included Muf’s bar, (next to Istanbul café), rock bar and the one a bit further down with cushions in an old building whose name I can’t remember. We stayed in the Celik apartments which were a good size and had a fantastic terrace bar with views of the tombs. Enjoyed the day trip to Saklienkent (sp?). Tlos is an interesting place and the walk up the gorge is spectacular. Overall a great place for a relaxing holiday and we just wish we were able to stay for a fortnight rather than the week we had.

Back again from our two weeks this time at Sahin Apts. We love Dalyan-without a doubt the best place in Turkey. Sahin is a great place to stay-we highly recommend it. Try the new Life car rental run by a warm and friendly guy who deserves to do well. Our hottest tip for this year is to visit Vedat on the Goksu 2002 and let him spoil you on his boat for an 8 hour trip. He cooks a mean banquet and even puts your suncream on for you. One of many Turkish good guys who deserve as much patronage as they can get. Can`t wait for the next trip.

Met up with English friends we made last year who bought a house in Marmali (next to Dalyan). They got married on Ali Ozalps boat while we were in Dalyan. Also met up with Dutch friends we met last year. Ate at Winw and Dine mostly. Excellant restaurant. Huseyin now also has apartments (Beray apartments) which are definately worth checking out for future holidays. Cant wait to go back.

The guides were outstanding, Myles delivered on all his promises and was most patient, Mehmet and the office staff were extremely helpful,Hotel Calypso was very pleasant and comfortable- all in all 5 stars and superlatives (from someone not generous with superlatives). The only dilemma is whether to keep Dalyan and Kaunos Tours a secret or to spread the word

Just returned from 2 fantastic weeks in Dalyan. We stayed at the Plantree Appts & Hotel which was very nice. Everyone is so friendly, everywhere we ate the food was excellent but can particularly recommend the 180 and the Capricorn but especially The Niobe Restaurant which is run and owned by Issac, fantastic with the kids and always makes you feel especially welcome, food also excellent. We went on the Jeep Safari with Rami at Kaunos Tours (do not think you can win a water fight with this Man!) All our other trips were booked through Yesil travel - who provided an excellent service, so much to see and do, but I must recommend the 12 Island Cruise and the Moonlight Cruise. Hope you have such a good time as we did.

Anonymous said on 19/08/2003:
We have just stayed at the Planetree (Cinar) appartments. Nice and cosy complex, nice appartments that are cleaned every day. Negative point is the music at the poolside, which continues all day (and late evening), that is just too loud. Apart from that, we had a nice stay there.

Richard said on 23/07/2003:
Just back from first trip to Dalyan. Stayed at Holiday Calbis which was very pleasant and not far from town. Guys at Kaunos were very helpful, transfers smooth, excursions fun. Recommend Lazy Cafe for breakfast and chatty host (in Gulpinar Cad - the road from Holiday Calbis to the centre of the town) and also Sini Restaurant next to Onur Motel in town-nice setting and good food, plus Gecit restaurant opposite Onur Hotel - cheap and cheerful. Dostlar Safrasi restaurant (overlooking parking area in road leading to Mosque)was also very good value but service was a bit slow. Yalcin Gift Shop (also in Gulpinar Cad) has nice selection of ceramics and are very friendly. Overall had a really good time for a week and found people genuinely friendly and good humoured. Definitely thinking of going back. Just puzzled that death rate of dogs and children is not very high as both seem to wander aimlessly in the middle of traffic - fortunately the cars seem to avoid them!

Victoria said on 18/07/2003:
Have stayed at the Calypso 3 times and am returning in August for my 4th visit. Hotel is absolutely wonderful and the staff are fabulous. Tony you will have a great time.

Penny said on 17/07/2003:
Had to add more. Dalyan is brill.Ozalp apartments excellant (can book direct), they also do all the trips from the reception or from one of their shops in "Dalyan High Street". Wine and Dine (by post office and kids park)is the best resturant. Staff are friendly and nothing is too much bother. Ist year open but will do well, we think. Good luck! Will be back soon.

tigger said on 15/07/2003:
Hotel KONTIKI - is about 15 mins walk on the main road to the post offfice and river. It is in a quiet location, surrounded by fields and properties. Get a Manos brochure as I think it is in there.

Hello there everyone! My boyfriend and I are going to Dalyan in a couple of weeks and would like some more info. regarding Hotel Keskin. It looks lovely but, we have a few questions. For example, is it well located? Is it reasonably easy to get to the beaches/town centre from there? Is it easy to get around and do you feel well connected or does it feel isolated? It would be good to get some feedback from those of you that have stayed or know of it. Thanks people! Have a good summer - Happy holidays! Bye G

Dalyan is changing.Too many tourist shops have replaced restaurants and lace shops. Lots of young turkish teenagers hang about in the bars and ask for drinks.very cheeky. Still some relaxing corners, but please be careful everyone. Good website with up to date information.

Dalyan is the most beautiful place - this is our fifth year. We've travelled a lot in Turkey but we keep coming back to Dalyan. Stay at the Kilim hotel, and eat at the Denizyildizi and the Niobe. Go out with Kaunos Tours and buy your Turkish delight from the lady opposite the school. Rock at the Blues Bar. Congratulations on an excellent website - easy to navigate and full of information and interest.
