Wheeling Trip PNW Pre-SOB Run! July 21st
Alright, putting a wheeling trip together for July 21st, gonna make it a day trip and finish off the day at Sonic that Saturday night for some dinner. Typical meeting place out at McD's off 26 at 8:30am. Sonic is there off 26 and Cornelius. Hoping to get a good group together, enough to have 2 groups. Put it on your calendar now and plan for it. If you cant wheel with us or your EB is in the garage meet us at Sonic to rehash the adventure and see the carnage firsthand Very Happy This will be Scott (swa0330)'s first major trip out in his diesel EB, come on out and see it in action.

Let me know if you need a hand knocking that out so you can go. I'm running the 5.5" with the long arms now, what a blast!

My Schedule is : : :this weekend I have a family campout, the next full week of vacation I get to move all my crap to the new digs, then I have ANOTHER campout near the 4th, then all the closings $$$ stuff on the houses gets done, THEN we pay off all the debts stuff,JULY 28TH I GO TO SKYNRD CONCERT WITH MY SON, THEN I gets to see how fast I can spend the leftover $$$ Mr. Green.. Debby wants to see the new suspension IN the Bronco for SOB 11, so I can't complain at all. I do need to get out there and see the trail conditions in something besides my quad.
Maybe I'll hold off on the lift until closer to SOB and just wheel that weekend.

We're probably going to change things around and go out that weekend as well. (We were planning to go earlier in the month) Probably go up further on top though than Lyda to get away from the dust.

Hey Rick, just a heads-up. The Jolly Jeepers cancelled their rally that weekend (just found out a week ago). I am sure a lot of people are still planning on making a run to TSF. So long story short, it's gunna be pretty busy I'm guessing.
Like you said, Lyda will be plenty dusty, not to mention all the bike riders. Lyda was just our first guess and we will have about 8 rigs camping, needed the room.

Take care.
Shawn.

Thanks, sounds like even more reason to get up on top further. I know of a couple of spots near Hogsback that will fit my group but their not big enough for 8 or more rigs. (Probably good for about 6) There's a spot above Lyda that is but it isn't really much better for dust. The area right below Can Opener is big enough but someone would need to be there Wed. or Thur. to be sure it gets saved. I think that is where I would try to get with that size of group.

Is this trip still going to happen?
Same time, same meeting place?
