Our Social Work
Department has been accredited for over 30 years, and our graduates
utilize their professional credentials for careers in social work,
disaster relief, counseling, and community planning.
The Department of Health,
Recreation and Kinesiology (HRK) offers one of the three
outdoor education programs in the state of Virginia. We have one of
a few accredited Therapeutic Recreation programs in the U.S. and our
graduates are in high demand.
Our Communication and
Science Disorders program has initiated one of the first on-line
speech-language pathology career switcher post-baccalaureate
programs.
