Senior Product Managers
Location: San Francisco


Founded in 1997 by the Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF) and the CommerceNet Consortium to act as an independent, unbiased trust entity, TRUSTe is a nonprofit organization dedicated to enabling individuals and organizations to establish trusting relationships based on respect for personal identity and information in the evolving networked world. More than 2,400 websites rely on TRUSTe to provide best practices for consumer choice, monitoring of privacy practices, and resolution of consumer privacy complaints.

TRUSTe is celebrating its 10th anniversary year as the world’s largest online privacy seal program and has earned a reputation as the leader in promoting privacy policy disclosure, informed user consent, and consumer education. The TRUSTe privacy program – based on a branded online seal, the TRUSTe "trustmark" – bridges the gap between users' concerns over privacy and Web sites' needs for self-regulated information disclosure standards.

Based in San Francisco, the Associate Manager, Internet Marketing will be responsible for creating programs to build awareness of the TRUSTe brand as well as to generate quality sales leads. This individual will develop and implement lead and revenue-generating programs via search marketing, website/email marketing, direct mail, events management and collateral dissemination. This key member of the TRUSTe team will work collaboratively with the Product and Sales teams to help ensure continued growth and success for the organization.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Develop and implement integrated marketing programs and campaigns (including direct response, paid search and email marketing) designed to generate new, qualified sales leads to drive revenue generation
  • Using quantitative and qualitative research and analysis, provide weekly reports detailing the progress and results of marketing campaigns
  • Establish, execute and manage strategic e-mail communications, including overseeing the development of content and creative and analyzing and reporting on results
  • Oversee incorporation of lead information from events, product registration, newsletter registration, website registration, and other sources into internal lists for follow-up marketing
  • Create and maintain sales collateral and events-related items on corporate web site

Qualifications

  • 3 – 5 years of marketing experience, including direct marketing project management experience. Business-to-business experience required
  • Experience with InDesign, HTML and email marketing systems
  • Strong analytic skills and the proven ability to analyze data and report on project results
  • Exceptional project management, time management, and organizational skills
  • Superior written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, result-oriented environment while demonstrating flexibility, attention to detail and responsiveness
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
