Homestay Applicant Payment Information:
All student and guest applicants are required to complete online application
and pay the application of CAD $200 or CAD $300 for applicants 17 and
younger. Application fee can be paid conveniently online after submitting
the student or guest application by credit card via Paypal.
The agency will search our database and match student application with a
suitable host. The agency will communicate possible homestay options with
the student or guest via email and contact host family regarding hosting the
student or guest.
When we have acceptance from both sides, the guest or student will be
required to pay a non-refundable down payment of 10% of the stay. This way
we can hold the room and arrange all particulars including ordering airport
pick up.
When we receive the 10% down payment, we will order pick up and email host
family contact and airport pick up instructions.
Students & Guests who are 18 years or older are required to pay the
remainder amount of 90% of the monthly homestay fee to the host family
directly.
For students 17 years and younger, their families or guardians are required
to pay 100% of the entire stay in advance to the agency. When agency
receives the homestay fee, will pay the host family directly on behalf of
the student. The agency also requires a copy of guardianship document that
has been submitted to the school. The agency will also require a copy of
healthcare insurance. Should the student need guardianship arrangement or
purchase insurance, the agency can assist for additional charge.
