IHA is currently looking for business
associates based in
other
Canadian, American, and European cities.
SUPPORT: The agency will provide the
associates with online homestay applications and student/guest leads. The
associate will be supported by a growing network of
associates in other
cities, and have access to VHA and IHA marketing tools, data bank, and
online resources that will influence the associate’s market.
DUTIES: The
associate’s duties are:
1- Inspecting, qualifying, and recruiting host
families.
2- Follow up on client leads, payments, and
confirm reservations.
3- Offer support to students, guests, and host
families.
4- Promoting the agency through personal calls
and targeted local advertising to schools and host families.
CANDIDATES:
An associate needs to be a self motivated
individual who sets his own work schedule.
She/he should own home based office with a
computer with internet access, and own vehicle.
Experience as homestay agent, coordinator, or
host for students would be an asset but not necessary. Existing homestay
agencies and coordinators are welcome to apply.
