The Kenai River SportfishingAssociation has dedicated over $10 million dollars to habitat preservation, fishery conservation and public aquatic education throughout the watershed.
KRSA dedicates thousands of dollars annually toward bank restoration work that allows anglers responsible river access. The Classic Fishwalk below the Soldotna Chamber & Visitors Center is just one example of the habitat friendly, state of art access facilities on the Kenai.

The Association represents its membership as a liason to area resource managers responsible for the watershed and takes an active role in fishery management issues.
