Workshop Schedule for the workshop title Finding Funding Opportunities 101
This workshop will give you the skills to effectively identify
potential funding sources via the COS database.

Johnson City
Public Library offers grantseeking and proposal
writing workshops for non-profit organizations |
The Johnson City Public Library will host a workshop featuring
two sessions: Grantseeking Online and Proposal Writing and
the Foundation Relationship. The workshop sessions will take
place in the Jones Meeting Room on the 25th of October at 10:30 a.m.
and 1:30 p.m. respectively. These sessions are not intended
for individuals seeking grants for their own use, but rather for
area nonprofit organizations. The Library is a cooperating
collection of the Foundation Center and this workshop is designed to
help area nonprofits take advantage of the collection of resources
available at the Library.

Collegiate Environmental Science and Health Symposium in
Atlanta on November 14, 2007

- Professional Grant Development Workshop
Nov. 6-8, 2007, Northeast State Community College, Blountville, TN
This intensive three-day grant proposal workshop is geared for:
1) those who wish to strengthen their grant writing skills and 2)
beginners who wish to acquire and master the techniques of
preparing, writing and winning proposals from various funding
agencies. The center of attention will be on how to
effectively tell the story that leads to funding, be it for the
researcher in the sciences and social sciences, educator and
non-profit professional.

NIH Seminars in Program Funding and Grants Administration
March 25-26, 2008 – San Antonio, Texas and June
19-20, 2008 – Chicago, Illinois
Two Regional Seminars are being offered, each encompassing two
full days, providing information about the NIH funding process, from
opportunity identification and application preparation through post
award administration. Presentations are targeted towards research
administrators, new and experienced investigators, post docs and
