Biographical / Credentials

Ronald F. Wittmeyer, Jr. spent five years working as an insurance adjuster for two nationwide insurance companies. He graduated from Northern Illinois University College of Law in 1982, cum laude, where he was the Managing Editor of the Law Review.  Admitted to the practice of law in the State of Illinois and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, Mr. Wittmeyer began his practice with a defense firm, where he worked until he founded R. F. Wittmeyer, Ltd. in 1984.  He is also a Certified Public Accountant.

More than twenty years experience handling personal injury cases.

With more than twenty years experience handling personal injury cases, Mr. Wittmeyer has successfully represented thousands of clients, many of whom who have suffered serious or fatal injuries.

A writer and lecturer on civil litigation and personal injury law, Mr. Wittmeyer is a former Chairperson of the Civil Litigation Committee of the Northwest Suburban Bar Association. He is also one of the founding members of the Arlington Heights Crime Stoppers, a former member of their Board of Directors, and remains legal counsel for that organization.

Board Certified as a Civil Trial Attorney

Mr. Wittmeyer recently received Board Certification as a Civil Trial Attorney by the National Board of Trial Advocacy (accredited by the American Bar Association).  This is the ultimate stamp of competency, qualifications, and professionalism.  Certification is granted only after years of trial practice, recommendations from trial judges and fellow attorneys, successful completion of examinations, and demonstrations of professionalism.
