Summary

The Uncles Fire in the Marble Mountain Wilderness was declared contained on October 23, 2006.

Fire Behavior

No smoke was observed in the Uncles fire. Smoldering and creeping was observed on the Hancock fire in the Salt Log and Tobacco drainage.

Significant Events

Tom Taylor Cabin and English Peak Lookout had their fire wrap removed.

Planned Actions

Continue to do aerial recons as necessary on the Hancock, Uncles, and Rush Fires.
