This site provided an opportunity to exercise some interesting strategies. Operating against the same database and image library as its sister-site Star Marine Depot, we crafted a solution that allows selected products and categories to appear in both sites. This allows our client to manage multiple boutique web stores, while managing a single product database.

We built this for our client who also owns Fish Oregon. Recognizing the popularity of this region of Southern Oregon, the goal was to develop the premier web presence to highlight the large number of diverse recreation opportunities along the Rogue River.

Bikestation provides a service that allows their members to store bicycles near transit centers, and needed a means by which those members could purchase and renew their membership fees. Modifying Storefront 5.0 to accommodate those requirements was just the beginning of this project.

For this project, we started with the development of the logo. Our client wanted to convey that theirs was more than a kennel, but a special treat for the client’s pets; they asked for something bright, fun and tropical-oriented. (This logo is now also a large roadside sign directing visitors to their business.) Then we added bright yellow, plopped the pooch into the pool, and added the power of Storefront 5 e-commerce.
