Be sure to frequently check this section of the Web site to learn the latest information on courses and speakers. Take advantage of online registration for the meeting, courses, and events by visiting the registration section.

High Quality Education
AGD2008Orlando offers the most up-to-date and practical continuing dental education available anywhere. You will learn tips and techniques that can be applied as soon as you return to the office. And don’t forget that AGD2008Orlando offers a variety of educational opportunities for your staff! Use the course search tool to search for courses by date, subject, course code, or speaker. 
 
Free Lectures
Admission to all lectures is free to dental professionals who are registered attendees of AGD2008Orlando. Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis, so you do not need to register for specific lectures. Lectures are coded with a letter “L”—for example “L09.”
 
Participation (Hands-on) Courses
The Academy of General Dentistry’s (AGD) renowned participation courses are now available for registration. Register early to ensure your seat in the popular participation courses (limited seating). Use the course search tool to search for courses by date, subject, course code, or speaker, and then visit the registration section to register for the meeting and participation courses.
 
Bring your Dental Team!
Dental team members are eligible to attend AGD2008Orlando free of charge if their dentist is registered for a full meeting registration. Dentists and dental team registrants are still required to pay for individual participation courses and/or individual event fees. AGD2008Orlando is an ideal way to involve and educate your entire dental team!  More dental team courses will be announced in the upcoming weeks.
 
Course Codes:
  • Participation (P) courses are 30 percent hands-on manipulation (requires additional registration and payment).
  • Special (S) courses are lectures that have an additional fee, including the FAGD Exam Review course (requires additional registration and payment).
  • Lectures (L) courses are three- and six-hour lectures (included in your registration fee).
  • Learning Labs (L) are 50-minute lectures, held in the Exhibit Hall (included in your registration fee). Learning Labs will be announced in the spring of 2008.

8 a.m. to 5 p.m.:  Participation (hands-on) courses
1 p.m. to 4 p.m.:  Learning Labs (50-minute lectures in the exhibit hall)
 
Fri., July 18, 2008:
8 a.m. to 5 p.m.:  Lectures
8 a.m. to 5 p.m.:  Participation (hands-on) courses
10 a.m. to Noon:  Learning Labs (50-minute lectures in the exhibit hall)
2 p.m. to 5 p.m.:  Learning Labs (50-minute lectures in the exhibit hall)
 
Sat., July 19, 2008:
9 a.m. to 5 p.m.:  Lectures
9 a.m. to 5 p.m.:  Participation (hands-on) courses
10 a.m. to Noon:  Learning Labs (50-minutes lectures in the Exhibit Hall)
