The EndNote X1.0.1
update for Windows XP and Vista is free to EndNote X1 users and
includes new, highly-requested features:
- EndNote for Windows
Mobile / Pocket PC.

Formatting support for Open Document Type (ODT) files using the
Format Paper command.
- Expanded
groups—create hundreds of groups in each EndNote library.
- The reference preview
now displays active URLs for quick access
- Updated documentation, Output Styles, Connections and Import filters
- PLUS approximately 50 additional updates, fixes, and improvements.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
It is recommended that you use "Program Updates." Close all programs and turn off any background software, such as virus protection software. From within EndNote, choose "EndNote Program Updates…" from the "Help" menu and follow the on-screen prompts.
Alternately, you can
download
a patch (please note that this is a .zip file that contains the .msp patch installer). To run this installer open the ZIP file and then double-click the MSP file to
update your version of EndNote X1.
