Alaska Salmon fishing On the Alagnak River in 2006 was spectacular. We had another record run of Alaska Salmon that reached over 4 million total Salmon in the Alagnak River. Alaska Trophy Adventures lodge offers Alaska Salmon Fishing the way it should be. Catching Salmon that is, not just fishing for Alaska Salmon. During our July & August Alaska Salmon fishing season Anglers averaged 15 to 20 fish landed daily with our top anglers landing 35 to 40 fish per day of a mixed bag to include King Salmon, Sockeye Salmon, Chum Salmon, Pink Salmon and Silver Salmon. Alaska Salmon Fishing Season
The Alaska Salmon fishing Season starts around June 25 on the Alagnak River with Sockeye and King Salmon entering the river first followed by Chum Salmon in mid July.
The pinks run on even years 06-08 they enter the river the 1st of August followed bye the Coho Salmon the 2nd week of August through mid September. Alaska Salmon Fishing is our specialty the Salmon fishing guides are all very experienced in all aspects of Alaska Salmon fishing to include pulling plugs, throwing spinners and fly fishing. Alaska Salmon Fishing in Katmai Park
Alaska Adventures operates 80% of our Alaska Salmon fishing on the main stem of the Alagnak River; we occasionally run raft trips or X-Treme trips on the Nushagak River, Egegik River during the summer. During the fall we offer Salmon fishing on the Karluk River or the Sandy River. The Alagnak River
Salmon fishing is rated number one for consistent runs of Salmon and the total escapement averages between 2 to 5 million Salmon annually. The peak of the Salmon run is July 1st thru the 30th for a mixed bag of Salmon to include fresh Kings, Chums and Sockeye if your looking to take fish home. During August the river gets good runs of Chums and Coho's along with Trophy Rainbow Trout, Char and Grayling fishing. August of 2006 was unbelievable for our fly fisherman as we set a new camp record with
numerous anglers landing over 200 fish in 5 days of fishing to include Silver Salmon, Pink Salmon and Rainbows from our Spike camp on the Kukaklek River.
