Sansome & George

Crafted were selected by Sansome & George in Reading to completely refresh their online offering and use the opportunity to add new functionality to better promote their properties.

A fully featured content management system was developed in order to provide the staff at Sansome & George a simple interface with which to keep the contents of their website up to date.

Properties can be managed with ease using the brochure management tool allowing multiple high-resolution photographs to be uploaded along with detailed descriptions using a rich text editor - the interface of which operates in the same way as Microsoft Word.

The contents of the site can be promoted using the "Hot Property" and "Featured Properties" panels which can be activated via a checkbox.

Users of the site benefit from useful tools such as the ability to register their interest on a property, to setting up email alerts which send details of any property matching the user's profile to them as soon as it is added to the site, along with viewing floorplans, maps of the area, the ability to "save" properties of interest and to send the details to a friend.

Key Features:

  • 1024x800 resolution design with a fresh, modern design
  • Detailed site admin with CMS of all key areas
  • Static URL's enabling search engines to cache all content easily

Elements: CMS, Design & Branding

Client Feedback

Paul Bampton, owner of Sansome & George commented on Crafted's management of the revitalisation project:

"Prior to Crafted's reworking of our site we had many issues including not only a tired looking site, but also difficulty in making any changes we required and poor responses from the design company. We have had no such issues since the launch of our new site and it has quickly become an integral tool to our business. Clients find the site simple to use and appreciate the detailed descriptions of the properties we are able to manage using the CMS."
