Burn a DVD Movie Page 2 - Burning the DVD ISO Image

Hopefully everything in the Burn a DVD Movie page went well. If not, go back there and do those steps again.

Now it's time to burn that DVD using Imgburn

Imgburn is a very simple and easy to use DVD image burning software package, it also helps that it is FREE! You've already done the hard part, so now let's get to the fun part.

  1. Make sure that you have successfully found and installed ImgBurn 1.3.0. If you didn't get it on the first Burn a DVD Movie page then do a Google search for "ImgBurn" to find the file, download it and run it.
  2. Google

  3. Now start up ImgBurn, it should be in your Start menu
  4. Once in ImgBurn, click File Browse and browse to the location that you saved your image to during the DVD Shrink process.
  5. Put a blank writable DVD disc in your DVD burner and make sure that it is selected as your Destination. Your screen should now look like the one below:Burn a DVD Movie 4
  6. I suggest changing the Write Speed to something slower than 6x to make this DVD as compatible with older DVD players as possible.
  7. Next click the Write button (big icon in the lower left of the screen in ImgBurn) and your DVD is on its way.
  8. Once this process is complete, take your DVD out and try it out in your DVD Player, or just pop it out and back into your computer and let your computer's DVD software play it.
