Eleven Connecticut Libraries Select Auto-Graphics’ AGent VERSO™ ILS system
POMONA, CA. – May 17, 2007 -- Auto-Graphics, Inc. (AUGR.PK), a technology innovator providing library automation solutions for over 35 years, today announced that 11 public libraries in Connecticut have selected AGent VERSO™for their integrated library system (ILS). This brings the total number of libraries in Connecticut utilizing AGent VERSO to 28. The following libraries will upgrade to AGent VERSO which offers a single, comprehensive staff interface, an intuitive customizable OPAC and features such as an events calendar, RSS feeds and the ability to accommodate staff and patron-level display preferences:

The Connecticut libraries opted for the Software as a Service (SaaS) delivery method with full system support, maintenance, and updates, allowing them to focus on expanding patron services without the additional cost and complexity of addressing technical support issues. A longtime partner to the State of Connecticut, hundreds of libraries throughout the State are already using Auto-Graphics' AGent Resource Sharing™ interlibrary loan system and AGent Search™, its federated search portal. With the addition of AGent VERSO, these 11 libraries will now be able to manage, share and search all holdings through a single web-based library automation platform.
