Oregon Caves National Monument
For Teachers

We are so excited about being a part of your class!

At the Monument, we offer a Curriculum Based Education (CBE) Program which provides learning experiences for 1st - 8th grade school groups. This includes field trips to the caves, Ranger classroom visit, lesson plans and more. Programs are offered as a public service at no cost to the school or school district, and is offered to more than 4,000 students annually.

Fee waivers and discounts are also available for non-school groups who want to tour the cave. The main requirement for the fee waiver is that the cave tour be related to the educational goal of the group (e.g. science clubs). Discounts are also available for other groups (church youth groups, senior citizen's groups, etc.) who wish to tour the cave.

For more information contact the CBE Coordinator.

We hope you enjoy teaching (and learning with) your students about Oregon Caves National Monument. Thanks for being involved!
