Sitka Fishing Report 2006 ~ posted daily - report updated 5/19/2006
5/ 19 thru 5/21
I know what you're trully interested in is the fishing, but the perfect weather we have experienced the last 3 days, the calm seas, blue skies, & full sunshine just enhance the experience!

The entire crew of Alaskan Reel Affair Charters have been gearing up & launching our boats for the last week now.

Captains have been fine tuning equiptment, gear, performing 'shake downs', preparing Shrimp pots, & testing the fishing grounds.

Halibut (among other species) was harvested for a crew dinner with plenty of seafood remaining for other dinners to come. (Thank you Jeremy & Diana). We have a crew of 18 HUNGRY hardworking men, & me.
