As the president and co-founder of VKI Studios, Darcy Foster has over eight years of search marketing experience. He has successfully helped clients grow their online businesses from the early days of AltaVista through to present, where he currently oversees multiple teams responsible for organic SEO, paid search, usability and web analytics.

Though search will always remain important, Darcy sees the years ahead being forged by the desire to enhance usability, harness the power of web analytics and combine them to deliver the very best in user experience. He strongly believes that analytics and usability should help define a successful search strategy. It is this desire that has inspired Darcy to work hard to change VKI Studios from a pure SEO company into an ROI obsessed company focused on more than just generating new visitors.

John Hossack

John has been actively creating his own destiny in the world of business for over a decade. From his early entrepreneurial days as a student, through his rapid rise from Junior Currency Trader to Treasury Manager with Canada's largest foreign exchange brokerage firm, John has never been one to accept the status quo. Always in search of new and greater challenges, John joined VKI Studios in 2001 to help the firm expand its client base geographically, and diversify its service offerings.

John holds a B.Sc. in Economics from the University of Victoria, as well as an M.B.A. from the Australian Graduate School of Management, where he specialized in Finance and Technology.

As one of the founding members of VKI Studios, Dave's passion for all things technological has led him to forge a successful career in internet software development.

A combination of education and 10 years of technical experience have allowed Dave to oversee the design of efficient and cost-effective solutions for our clients, while establishing lasting relationships through exceptional customer service.

Dave's educational background includes a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Victoria School Of Business and a Certificate in Multimedia Studies from UBC. Being successful in our industry also requires that Dave continually be educating himself so he can provide solutions using the most advanced technologies.
