The Perfect Storm: Healthcare for All Ages
The 2008 Annual Meeting will focus on healthcare’s
perfect storm – a fast moving aging population
that is demanding, empowered, and living longer.
Here you will learn the brutal facts of how a
rapidly advancing boomer generation will dynamically
affect healthcare and your practice, as you know
it today.
This age wave is a profound demographic revolution
that will shift and transform every aspect of
our professional and personal lives. Medical groups
whose products and services are aligned with the
needs of a massive, maturing generation, as well
as the generations that follow, are in the threshold
of a tremendous opportunity.
You’ll learn all about new physician compensation
models, and how to build new business plans that
look at physician retirement and recruitment.
We’ll address how to find, train and motivate
younger staff, and address generational differences
in the workforce. An invaluable three-hour marketing
session will provide you with invaluable and essential
tools to understand and prepare your practice
for changing market dynamics. Other educational
offerings will cover healthcare law, new facility
designs and service models, real estate investments,
equipment lease vs. purchase, contract negotiations,
dashboards and reports, and much more.

Oregon/Washington MGMA Annual Meeting
The Perfect Storm: Healthcare For All Ages
April 27 – 30, 2008
Venue: Spokane Convention Center
Hotel: The Davenport Hotel and Tower
If you have exhibited with us before, you know
this is a stellar, national-caliber conference
that just keeps getting better and better, each
and every year. Well, 2008 is no exception.
Once again we’ve outdone ourselves with
an educational program that’s guaranteed
to draw attendees in record proportions. This
year we have, not three, not four, but five nationally
acclaimed keynote speakers.
We’ve outgrown every hotel in the Pacific
Northwest, so this year we’ll be taking
over the Spokane Convention Center for our meeting
and exhibitor space, with lodging headquarters
at The Davenport Hotel and Tower – considered
one of the top hotels in the country.
Members are already talking about this event and
key sponsorships are nearly sold out.
We’ve worked harder than ever this year
to ensure that you have adequate and quality time
with our attendees. Our attendees will find more
than an exhibit hall at this conference. Instead,
we like to think of it as a marketplace destination.
In addition to generous break times throughout
the day, we’ve planned a lavish Opening
Night Reception on Sunday, a Wine Tasting on Monday,
plus a number of special activities in the exhibitor
area to keep our attendees coming back.
There is no deadline to register as an exhibitor.
Simply put: Exhibit space is limited and we expect
booths to go fast, so don’t delay. To register,
return the exhibitor agreement right away.
