The Vintage Resort, Winter Park, Colorado - Reviewed by Heather on 2008-02-25 Pets: 180 English Mastiff Because of this Hotel, Winter Park is my favorite place to stay. We have a very large dog... many hotels won't accomidate. The Vintage is CLEAN and FRIENDLY... and they love our dog!! | Loews New Orleans Hotel, New Orleans, Louisiana - Reviewed by Gaylette on 2008-02-19 Pets: Yorkshire Terrier The staff at Loews was soooo pet-friendly and did not look at you like you were crazy for having a pet with you. Gracelyne is our only child and she goes everywhere with us. But I must say Lowes remains at the TOP of our list for pet-friendly accomdations. I do not feel insecure in leaving her alone while we dine out at night. Some places I cannot relax to leave her alone for fear of someone coming in & her getting out on them. | Residence Inn By Marriott Detroit Novi, Novi, Michigan - Reviewed by Sandra on 2008-02-12 Pets: Westie This hotel charges a $100 fee for "cleaning" (one time non-refundable) WOW! That's more than I pay to have my entire house cleaned!
This is excessive and unnecessary and prevents the average person from being able to afford to stay a night or two! I'm having a terrible time trying to find anywhere that will allow a small pet without a prohibitive fee amount. My little girl is quite distressed at the thought of leaving her new friend behind! | Travelodge By The Space Needle, Seattle, Washington - Reviewed by Bruce on 2008-02-09 Pets: 50 lb chocolate lab After staying here 2 weeks with our dog Wally, the desk clerk told us no pets allowed one night when we came in. The book in the room says pets OK and the Travelodge website says pet freindly, but apparently their new policy is no pets. We've stayed here with Wally for 3 years no problems, and for the last 2 weeks all the desk clerks smiled as we brought him through the lobby. Until last night. Quite a shock... | La Quinta Inn Savannah (i-95), Savannah, Georgia - Reviewed by Jennifer on 2008-01-24 Pets: 45 lb boxer mix & 50 lb shepherd mix I stayed in 01/2008. I arrived late, and left early - this hotel is right off I-95, which made it very convenient for a quick overnight stay while traveling. The room was basic - nothing great about it, but don't think this hotel is meant for a vacation. This exit is very busy and close to the interstate, so there was car/truck noise all night, which made my dogs bark a lot during the night. Hotel staff was nice - I was concerned about my dogs barking and the front desk clerk told me she could move me to a room where there were no "neighbors" if I wanted. Free breakfast was very small - smaller than any other free breakfast I've seen - not much to choose from. | Ramada Inn Mandarin, Jacksonville, Florida - Reviewed by Brenda on 2008-01-16 Pets: 25 lb mix breed dog, 2 cats Our family stayed at the Ramada for 60 days after returning from overseas assignment. The staff was simply wonderful! The housekeep staff and I came up with schedules to ensure all animals were supervised and safe during cleaning. The hotel has dog friendly grassy areas. |
