Car Hire Haugesund Airport - Mini guide to Haugesund Airport
A very small airport, just nine kilometres southwest of Haugesund in Norway, Haugesund Airport opened in 1975. The airport is operated by Avinor, an owner and operator of 46 airports, with their headquarters in Oslo, Norway.
The airport has one terminal serving domestic flights, operated by SAS Braathens to Bergen and Oslo. Coast Air, a regional airline, has its hub at the airport, with many flights to small destinations such as Bergen, Fagernes, Molde and Sandefjord. International flights flying to London Stansted are provided by Ryan Air.
The airports facilities are quite limited, with only one restaurant and one café offering drinks and snacks. Haugesund Sparebank provides a mini bank with an ATM, while the only place passengers can do their last-minute shopping is at a small duty-free shop.
There are no business facilities at the airport. Passengers with disabilities can find wheelchair-accessible toilets on the first floor.
