Following a three-way pitch, Crafted Media were selected by Jardine Lloyd Thompson to deliver a brand new website for their business insurance channel, JLT BIS.

Visually, the website needed to reflect JLT's strong brand guidelines whilst adopting a helpful tone of voice and utilising evocative imagery suitable for the intended audience. Following development of layout wireframes, Crafted Media's creative team produced an array of design options intended to assist the user in finding their required products whilst offering informative content in addition.

To appeal to the widest possible audience, the website was coded using XHTML Strict presentational code to adhere to accessibility guidelines and meet with the company's own requirements for its online material to be viewable on all media whether a standard web browser, screen reader for the visual impaired or a mobile platform.

To enable management of the website and its contents in-house, a comprehensive content management system was developed. Workflow processes can be applied with new content releases only after approval by authorised team members.

Following launch of the new website, Crafted Media are due to undertake a search engine optimisation campaign to propel JLTBIS.co.uk up the search engine's results pages for competitive terms with the express intention of delivering high volumes of qualified visitors.
