Alaska Duck Hunting

Alaska Duck HuntingBeginning in the fall of 2008, Alaska Fishing with Mark Glassmaker will begin to offer full day and overnight duck hunting trips to the West Side of Cook Inlet.  This hunt takes place in the Redoubt Bay Critical Habitat Area and this location hosts many thousand of migratory ducks and geese throughout the summer and especially in the fall.

The short 20 minute float plane ride from North Kenai will land you in prime duck hunting habitat and an established “duck shack” and adjacent boat and blinds.  Flocks of the ducks by the hundreds and thousands use this tidal marsh for vital habitat before departing south.

We will provide air transportation, guide and boat transportation to the blind.  We can also provide all decoys, ammo and shotgun if you are traveling from out of state and do not wish to travel with a firearm.   Limit is eight ducks per day per hunter.  All hunters are personally responsible for their own ducks.  Crippled or lost ducks will be counted against your eight duck limit, no exceptions.
