Implementing Your Health Information System Preparing to Select A Health Information System

Community Grants As part of the Washington Health Information Collaborative, the Health Care Authority is making up to $200,000 in funding available for grants of up to $50,000 each. Grants are designed to spur community wide provider engagement and connectivity efforts by directly involving medical providers and consumers in innovative projects to enhance the delivery of health care services. Potential efforts could focus on:
1. Engaging providers on practice redesign around Health Information Technology (IT) to improve clinical practice;
2. Using community champions to promote Health IT adoption and practice redesign around Health IT use;
3. Providing consulting services to providers and critical access hospitals for practice redesign around appropriate Health IT utilization to improve patient care outcomes; and
4.
