Itinerary: In: May 4, 2008  Out: May  17, 2008

 

Day 1

Tehran

Arrive in Tehran. Reception by our representative. Transfer to hotel./BLD

Day 2

Tehran

Morning rest. Lunch at a traditional restaurant. After lunch visit Sa’ad Abad Palace complex, Carpet Museum. Here you will find the finest collection of antiques, then proceed to visit the Crown Jewels located at the vaults of the Central Bank./BLD

Day 3

Tehran- Shiraz

Early morning, flight to Shiraz. This city is known to be the cultural capital of Iran. In the morning, visit Eram Garden, and the Mausoleums of the great Persian poets Hafez and Saa’di. After lunch, a visit to Naranjestan Palace and Nasirol Molk Mosque./BLD

Day 4

Shiraz- Persepolis

Early morning, excursion to the Persepolis and Naghsh-e-Rostam. In Persepolis you will visit a once United Nations of its own time, and in Naghshe-e- Rostam, the tomb of the four powerful Achaemenian Kings carved into huge rocks. This is where the steep face of the rocks speak. Also, you will see one of the oldest Zoroastrian fire temples in Iran./BLD

Day 5

Shiraz- Firooz Abad

Early morning, visit Ghashghayi nomads, lunch and dinner at Ghashghayi region. Overnight at tent./BLD

Day 6

Firooz Abad- Shiraz

After breakfast, observing Ghashghayi's natural life, including their traditional way of weaving carpet, cooking and baking.  Lunch in Ghashghayi tent, and return to Shiraz.  Overnight at hotel./BLD

Day 7

Shiraz- Yasooj- Semirom

After breakfast, visit nomad regions of Yasooj and Semirom. This driving route offers fantastic scenery beyond one’s imagination. This route also offers the greatest memories to the travelers. Overnight at hotel in Yasooj./BLD

Day 8

Yasooj- Semirom- Isfahan

After breakfast, driving to Isfahan via Semirom. En route, observing nomads. Arrive at Isfahan. Transfer to hotel./BLD

Day 9

Isfahan

After breakfast,  visit  (Imam) Square, Sheikh Lotfollah and Shah Masjeds (Mosques), Ali Ghapoo Palace and Jame Mosque. Lunch. In the afternoon, tour of Isfahan including Sio-Se- Pol and Khajoo Bridges. Overnight at hotel./BLD

Day 10

Isfahan

After breakfast, visit Chehel Sotoon (Forty Columns) and Hasht Behesht (Eight Heavens) Palaces. Then proceed to visit Jolfa, the Armenian quarters of Isfahan, to see Vank Cathedral and Shaking Minarets. In the Evening, visit  Zoorkhane (House of Strength) to see one of the most amazing traditional Iranian sports. This particular sport is a combination of physical and spiritual elements./BLD

Day 11

Isfahan- Kashan

After breakfast, driving to Kashan via Abyaneh village. This village dating back to Sassanian period. This village is protected by UNESCO as world heritage site. Tappe Sialk (Sialk hill) has history of over 7000 years. In Kashan you will visit Bagh-e- Fin (Fin Garden), and House of Boroojerdi../BLD

Day 12

Kashan- Tehran

After breakfast, visit Agha Bozorg Mosque and  Bazaar. Lunch  and driving to Tehran. Arrive at Tehran. Transfer to hotel../BLD

Day 13

Tehran

After breakfast, optional visit of Darbanad/ Bazaar, and free time./BLD

Day 14

Tehran

Flight out. Tour ends./B
