Why Summit County?
Summit County is Colorado's home for 4 World Class Ski Resorts and some of the most breathtaking scenery in Colorado.
The modern real estate market all began in 1961 when Breckenridge Ski Area opened. Following the popularity of skiing and the growth of Denver's suburbs, many condominiums were built and sold in the 70's. In the 80's, the real estate market softened with the closure of Exxon's oil shale development fields in NW Colorado. The 90's brought a lot of Tech growth to Colorado. With the purchase of Breckenridge, Vail Resorts made improvements and attracted many skiers to the mountain. The real estate market responded strongly with the demand by the late 90's. Through the stock market dive in 2000 the Breckenridge real estate market prices corrected and stabilized. In 2001 the market dipped due to the national economy and stabilized through 2002 but gained ground in 2003 with more sales volume than any other year in history. The Breckenridge real estate market continued to break records in 2004 and on through 2006!

Originally from San Diego, California Stu moved to South Lake Tahoe for skiing & became a restaurant manager. While managing The Chart House, in Aspen, Colorado Stu met his future wife, Tracy, & began his family in the Vail area. Stu and his family moved to Breckenridge in 1988 for the wonderful outdoor lifestyle and great "real town" fun atmosphere where he stayed earning his Brokers license in 1994. Stu will help you with his focus, knowledge, and experience in all your real estate needs and dreams. He knows the area, the people, the market, and it's history.

Scott moved to Breckenridge in 1985 from Iowa. Over the years he has been a corporate property manager & licensed general contractor, building & remodeling many properties in Summit County. First licensed as a real estate agent in 1991, Scott worked for Beacon properties selling and managing all the properties for Metropolitan Mortgage and Securities. Clients find Scott's experience in the community and in construction valuable when making decisions concerning their property.
