We've Taken It To The Streets!

TrainBus service has recently expanded to include weekend service. Now you can start later, go home earlier, stop for a bite or take a weekend jaunt, without getting in the car.

Route / Schedules

The route is designed to emulate the train, providing direct service to all existing WCE stations. TrainBus displays the WCE logo and is an extension of our fleet.  Arrival times are approximate due to traffic.

TrainBus

Travel in comfort as you would aboard our trains. TrainBus is a 47 seat coach bus equipped with some of the amenities West Coast Express passengers have grown to appreciate.

• High-back upholstered seats

• Onboard washroom
• Air conditioning
• External luggage compartment
• Individual reading lights
• Direct stops to West Coast Express stations

Boarding Procedures

• All TrainBus passengers must have a valid WCE ticket or pass.

• Passengers must present their valid WCE ticket or pass to the bus operator.
• There are no reservations. Check-in is on a first come, first served basis.
• Please Note: The TrainBus is not wheelchair accessible.

Tickets

• Fare structure is based on the WCE Fare Tariff. See Fare section for more information. WCE Customers holding return, weekly, and 28-day or Employer passes need not purchase an additional ticket to take TrainBus.

• Customers without tickets must purchase a ticket prior to boarding the bus. Boarding is based on availability.

Bus Waiting Areas

• The AM TrainBus will be in place at Mission about 9:00 am for boarding.

• TrainBus boards near the entrance to each station, with the following exceptions:

• Port Haney Station - In order to accommodate traffic flow, the AM boarding will take place across the street from the station house.

• Waterfront Station - Boarding at Waterfront, takes place in front of Waterfront Station, on the opposite side of Cordova Street, to accommodate traffic flow. TrainBus will be in position to begin boarding about 15 minutes ahead of departure time.
