Pat Bustamante, President

Pat Bustamante has served as President of Pacific LightNet Communications since January 1, 2003 and has over 25 years of telecommunications industry experience. His previous positions include both serving as Time Warner Telecom’s Vice President and General Manager and as GST Telecom’s Vice President of Sales. Pat takes an active role as Vice Chair on the National Telecommunications Advisory Committee and also serves on the Strategic Telecommunications Alliance & Resource Teams Blue Ribbon Committee. He is the recipient of Hawaii’s 2006 Community Service Award and the 2004 Top High Technology Leader Award. Board memberships include the Hawaii Association of Non-Profit Organizations, the Hawaii Science and Technology Council, Hawaii Telecommunications Association (past President/Chairman), and the Hogan Entrepreneurial Program at Chaminade University. Pat is also involved in community activities as a member of the Honolulu Rotary and was the 2006 Heart Walk Chairman for the American Heart Association.

Keven R. Wright, Chief Operating Officer

Kevin R. Wright brings 30 years of telecommunications product and network management experience to Pacific LightNet. At his most recent assignment, Kevin optimized the merger of the Cingular network into the AT&T; wireless network in southern Texas. Other assignments include executive positions with LCI International, SARAS Corporation, GST Telecommunications, US ONE, and Qwest Communications where he successfully worked to increase sales and shareholder equity while managing contracts with the federal government.

Kevin is no stranger to Hawaii having designed and deployed GST Telecommunications’ 380,000 fiber mile network, a portion of which today forms Pacific LightNet’s Hawaii Interisland Fiber Network. Other projects have included the design and construction of converged networks, fiber networks, and next generation networks for major companies throughout the telecommunications industry. Kevin is a senior member of the IEEE and has degrees in engineering and electrical engineering technology.

Tim has over 15 years of financial experience in the telecommunications industry. Tim was previously with GST Telecom where he had several management positions including Controller, Budget Director and Director of Finance. He has extensive experience in accounting, financial planning, investor relations, mergers and acquisitions, and treasury functions. Tim was a member of the founding team of GST Telecom and has remained employed there since the inception, and was also involved in the creation and growth of Electric Lightwave, a Washington based telecom provider. Before GST, Tim was a partner in a local CPA firm where he specialized in forecasts and projections and financial consulting.
