For SFA members to list products for sale on this web site, SFA requires a copy of participating members HACCP Plan on file in our office. SFA requires the seafood product be from a fishery operating under a bonafide fishery management plan. The country of origin, whether wild caught or pond raised and proper net weight must be available to the buyer for traceability reasons. The seafood products listed operate under a functioning HACCP Plan including written Standard Operating Procedures for sanitation and avoidance of pathogens.
