(Frequently Asked Questions)
How can I find USAID evaluations?
You can access all published, current and planned USAID evaluations in
the Evaluations section of EvalWeb.
How do I contact USAID evaluators?
You can search for USAID evaluators by name, sector, or region on the
Evaluation & Advisors section
of EvalWeb.
What procedures does USAID follow while conducting evaluations?
Please refer to the EvalWeb page on ADS
Requirements, which are currently being revised.
I am interested in conducting an evaluation. How do I start?
A well thought-out Scope of Work (SOW)
is an important initial step in the evaluation process. The Scope of Work
is a plan for the evaluation. It briefly answers the big questions: who,
what, where, when, and why. The best Scopes of Works deal with these questions
head-on and do not postpone decisions for the evaluation itself.
What other organizations work on evaluations?
You can find a list of organizations that work on monitoring and evaluation
on the External Links page of EvalWeb.
I am interested in receiving evaluation training. Where can
I find information about training and other learning opportunities?
You can find a comprehensive list of websites that contain information
about upcoming training opportunities on the Upcoming
Training section of EvalWeb.
How can I make a suggestion or submit a document to EvalWeb?
We encourage everyone's input on EvalWeb. If you have an idea for the
website, please contact the Webmaster.
Why was I unable to access one of the pages or documents on
EvalWeb?
Occasionally our servers are down; on such occasions you may not be able
to access EvalWeb documents. Please try again to access the document.
If the problem persists, please report the problem to the Webmaster.
When reporting problems by email, please be as detailed and specific as
possible in your description. This will help us determine the exact nature
of the problem and how best to fix it.
I'm interested in working with USAID. How do I find out about
business opportunities?
Answer: You can find all the information you need to do business with
USAID on the Business page of
the USAID web site.
