I am planning a Destination Weddinging at Holiday Inn Resort Montego Bay, Jamaica and wanted to share with you that the hotel has undergone several upgrades and is now offering a high level of service with the restaurants, bars and public areas looking wonderful. I was skeptical at first but I just came back and the rooms have been upgraded and there are many areas throughout the property that you can plan to have your wedding cermony. My husband and I enjoyed snorkling each day in the clear blue waters of the Caribbean Sea, and took the Catamaran Cruise once. Luperon has the BEST beach in Puerto Plata
I stayed at Luperon Beach Resort for one week in May and it was great. The weather was hot, which was perfect because there are three pools to cool down in and a huge beach. I felt like I was on my own private vacation when I was there because I could basically walk from my room to the beach in less than 30 seconds. My friends and I did basically all of the activities at the hotel; horseback riding, archery, kayaking, windsurfing and we rented the banana boat and did some tubing. We made friends with this guy named Erik from Sweden and had a few ping pong tournaments with him while other guests watched. We also made friends with a guy named Akib from Manchester who became a part of our bingo night ritual. The staff is really friendly and the resort is really clean and large. There are multiple buffets, but the best food is probably the Brazilian restaurant or the poolside grill in on. The drinks were good. Some bartenders made our drinks in pineapples! Bring your own suntan lotion.
