SmartBrain Technologies

Category: E-Commerce, Database (Dynamic Content)

Occasionally we find ourselves in a position to rescue a project, and that was the case with SBT. Two consecutive unsuccessful attempts to have their new web site developed led our client to find ProductCart, and ultimately to contact GreyBeard.

They had a design in place, much of their copy, and innovative products - they just needed a reliable developer to stand by them as they took their neurofeedback system to market on the Web. Having a shopping cart that actually worked almost seemed like a bonus.

We took the basic design which had been produced by another team, implemented it in a manner that we feel is very close to the original vision, and wrapped it around ProductCart.

Additional features built into this site are database-driven tools to manage poll questions and testimonials.
America's Best Bike Rides

Category: E-Commerce

America's Best Bike Rides asked us to develop a web presence to market their motivational athletic videos.

The project presented a few unique challenges, allowing us to stretch the features of ProductCart a bit. We created a popup window with self-closing links as a method of presenting a series of stunning preview videos for the products being offered by the site. And while not easily identified as such, the home page is the stock PC home page with some design revisions. Since we were not planning to use the administrative home page controls for "specials", we moved the logic to control such products and used it to control a right-hand column on the interior pages of the site.

We frequently install blogs in our web stores to facilitate the desire of our clients to introduce new content to their sites both as a means of communication with their visitors and as an SEO strategy.
Chic Corporate Apparel

Category: E-Commerce

Our client had already begun the process of developing her store, and came to us to refine the ProductCart implementation. The conversation led to a discussion of the overall approach to her original site design, and eventually to a complete redesign.

Starting with the development of a new logo, then the site design and implementation of our Apparel Matrix modification, we produced an attractive and clean interface making it easy for shoppers to locate and purchase our client's custom logo apparel products.

Euphoria Baby

Category: E-Commerce

Our client has run another store for several years using another cart. In order to become accustomed to ProductCart's robust features, without feeling like they were placing their legacy site and natural search engine placement at risk, they asked us to create a duplicate of that older site over the ProductCart platform and addressed with a new domain name.

Featuring a graphical design developed by our client, the site incorporates our "Session Saver" and "Add to Cart Alternative" add-on scripts, category-sensitive navigation, and custom product detail page layout modifications.

Smiley's Home Distilling
www.home-distilling.com

Category: E-Commerce

We applied characteristics found on top brands like Jim Beam and Jack Daniels in the creation of Smiley's new logo. Then we created a design blending rich color tones, and an easy-to-access navigation scheme, and brewed up a winning web presence for our client.

Originally running an older cart, we used ProductCart's .xls product import feature to migrate from the old database, reducing the effort that was required to launch the new site.
