• Available Services

  Half Moon offers room service, internet cyber lounge, shopping village, 24-hour banking, post office, children's centre, multi-lingual staff, 24-hour on-site hospital, full service business centre, and wireless internet connection in the lobby.

• Gym/Fitness Centre

  This modern facility includes a new aerobic dance studio, cardio theatre with cable television, FM radio, treadmills, recumbent bicycles, upright bicycles, step machines and a rowing machine. The Nautilus Weight room also has new "Next Generation" equipment including double chest, overhead press, abdominal machine, leg extension, compound row, seated dip, multi-biceps, seated leg curl and lateral pull-down machines. Free weights, a Nautilus Olympic bench and various incline and leg raise abdominal benches are also available. Personal trainers and yoga instructors are available, and for those wishing for complete privacy, in-room or villa lessons are also available.

• Children's Activities

  A variety of supervised crafts, activities and adventures including nature walks, treasure hunts, tug-o-war, water games, Jamaican story times, costume shows and reggae dance classes are offered throughout the week at the Children's Centre. Every Sunday, children may participate in the popular Plant-a-Tree program, part of the resort's environmental awareness program that happens to be a lot of fun. There is plenty to do for the older children including tennis clinics, volleyball, nature walks, teen tennis, golf, squash, horseback riding and water sports galore. Personal babysitters and nannies may be arranged with 24 hours notice. The cost is US$14 for the first three hours and US$4 per each hour following. For those interested in a more structured, yet fun environment, we have created a safe and friendly mini paradise for potty trained little ones ages three or older at the Children's Centre. Our friendly and responsible staff will take good care of your precious little ones while you enjoy a bit of rest, relaxation and rejuvenation! The Centre includes swings, slides, roundabout, shallow pool, game rooms with toys, videos, video games and a shaded playground. Children's bicycles may also be rented. The shaded playground at the Children's Centre includes swings, slides, roundabout and kiddie pool. The Game Room, located in Oleander Terrace is open 24 hours and has a pool table, miniature tennis table and a ping pong ball machine. Our lovely landscaped cycling trails make for a perfect day of exploring on two-wheels. Bike rentals for children are available at the Children's Centre.

• Swimming Pools

  Half Moon has 52 fresh water pools, most of which are assigned to private cottages, suites or villas. The main pools available to all guests include the Hibiscus Pool, Oleander Pool and Lap Pool. Both the Hibiscus and Oleander pools are free form, freshwater pools with varying depths. The Hibiscus Pool Bar and La Baguette serve cool refreshments and snacks. The Lap Pool is our "Olympic-size" swimming pool. Guests are asked to observe all pool rules posted at all times. Three Jacuzzis are located in the Hibiscus Pool area.

• Spa Services

  Let highly trained aestheticians pamper you and treat you to your choice of services from body wraps, aromatherapy massages and facials, to exfoliation, Thalassotherapy and even a cure for jet lag. Manicures, pedicures, facials, beauty treatments, massages, body wraps, Heaven for Two, Hydrotherapy, Swiss showers, Vichy showers and saunas are available.

• Water Sports

  Scuba diving, snorkeling, sailing, water skiing, parasailing, wind surfing, jet skiing, deep sea fishing, glass bottom boats, boat cruises and kayaking are all available at Half Moon. Reservations are suggested for all water sports and there are instructors available.

• Dolphin Lagoon

  Half Moon boast the distinction as the only hotel in the Caribbean with a dolphin attraction on site, private and exclusively for Half Moon's guests. Come, meet, kiss and swim with the dolphins. You and your family will enjoy this unique experience at a unique property.

• Recreational Activities

  Both tennis and squash lessons are available for a fee. Explore the beauty and lush landscape of Half Moon on horseback. Ride through Half Moon's Nature Reserve or along bridle paths that wind through the cool hills and valleys and enjoy the countryside. Equestrians of all levels can enjoy a variety of activities from riding lessons to adventurous trail rides, beach rides and jungle jaunts. Please plan on wearing long pants and walking shoes or sneakers. Riding helmets, available at the Centre, are also recommended. Beach rides, pony rides, Jungle Jaunt, Mountain Rides, Arena Polo, Tryall Trail and Lessons are all available.

• 18 Hole Championship Golf Course

  Enjoy a day spent on the award-winning, par 72 Championship golf course, Half Moon Golf Club, designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr.

• Seagrape Terrace

• Il Giardino

• The Sugar Mill

  Attracting celebrities from all over the world, this gracious retreat offers a magical setting complemented by gourmet contemporary Jamaican cuisine, and live music.   The walls are filled with colorful artwork by the renowned Polish-Jamaican artist Michael Lester, for whom the bar is named, and guests will enjoy our resident pianist who tickles the ivory six nights a week. Open daily from 12:00 noon until 1:00 a.m.

• Wedding Requirements

  Bride and groom must be in Jamaica for a minimum of 24 hours. Should you like us the make special arrangements, please forward the following at least ONE MONTH prior to your preferred wedding date: Notarized copies of bride & groom’s birth certificates, notarized copies of divorce decrees or death certificates (if applicable), occupation of both candidates, occupation and names of both parents and date and time of the wedding.
