Victoria BC is the capital of British Columbia. It is situated
at the southern most point of Vancouver Island. Victoria can be
reached by ferry from Port Angeles or Seattle in the United States or
from the lower mainland of British Columbia.
Victoria is a beautiful city. English gardens and hanging
baskets can be found everywhere. Beacon Hill Park is lovely to
visit anytime of the year. Located on the waterfront overlooking
the snow-capped peaks of the Olympic Mountains, Beacon Hill Park has a small petting
zoo and rose gardens.
The BC Provincial Museum is located across the street from the
provincial legislature in downtown Victoria and is fabulous to visit. Tours of the Legislature are offered free during the
summer months.
