THE FEATURES
Ultrabraid Dynamite offers many advantages:
- The Dyneema® fibres are very dense and do not absorb water themselves; the compacting processes prevent the line from absorbing water between the yarns.
- It doesn't bury in the spool even if your retrieving is not perfect, in fact it spools perfectly on any reel providing excellent line lay on both fixed spool and multiplier reels.
- It doesn't damage rod guide linings
- The strength is unbelievable
- The stretch is near to zero, offering excellent bite detection
- It allows you to cast longer
- Due to it's its thinner diameter and with nil water absorption, flow resistance in is? minimal even in the very strongest tides
- Unlike many other braids, Dynamite is an easy line for tying, producing extremely secure knots. This line has an average knot strength 15% higher than competing braids.
- The unique Thermo-Fixing treatment substantially increases the abrasion resistance of Dynamite against underwater snags.
- Total ly no-memory line, allowing the line to come off the reel with minimal risk of tangles
- Dyneema® is a

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Dynamite can be spooled onto your reel as you would any other line onto your reel. Because Dynamite is such a slick braid, unless you have a line keeper on the spool , you may have problems preventing Dynamite from "spinning" when first wound on. In this eventuality, it is recommended that you bed down the spool by winding on 10metres of standard monofilament so the Dynamite has something to grip on to. We recommend the Uni-knot (see drawing) as a secure braid to mono knot. Alternatively, you can use insulating tape to build up the spool and create a non-slip base that the Dynamite can grip on to. As previously mentioned , the Dyneema fibres are very dense with virtually nil water absorption property, so it is difficult to achieve a long lasting colour (the natural Dyneema® colour is milky white). This means the colour will (as for all brands of Dyneema lines) go off with prolonged use: this is natural and doesn't affect the performance of Dynamite in any way. If you wish to restore the line colour, we recommend that you use a permanent marker, if you want your line to look s as new!
If you are looking want to achieve long casts with braid, it is important that the line is stored on the reel in tight secure wind ings s preventing the line from "bedding" in different layers that can cause snagging when cast under pressure. Dynamite is a very durable line, but not eternal; if the braid starts to look damaged, especially if you fish close to rocks and trees, just cut off the damaged part and continue to fish with the rest!
FISHING INSTRUCTIONS
Remember your line is no-stretch : therefore it is not necessary to strike hard to set the hooks in the fish e ' s mouth. In most cases it's enough to hold the rod tight and then wind in to the fish in order to sufficiently pull the hook s home for a secure hook hold. Strike too hard and you will find that you can pull the hooks loose when fishing soft mouthed species. The way you fish Dynamite is very similar to using mono, although be aware that every movement exhibited through the rod tip is directly transmitted to your lure or bait! It is also important that you are careful when playing fish close to the rod tip as Dynamite does not have the cushioning stretch associated with mono. Dyneema is a very strong component of your fishing tackle, and you should not set the drag based on its breaking stain strength : we suggest that you set the drag according to the weakest component of your fishing rig, which is often either the hook-length or snag-leader. If you are using a fixed spool reel, we suggest that you close the bail arm manually in order to prevent snapping or line damage! If fishing with baits and live baits, jigs or plastic worms, it is better to add a few metres of monofilament (fluorocarbon in clear water) attaching it with a n Uni knot (see drawing) to act as hook length, making re-tying knots when changing rigs much easier.
For deep sea boat fishing we recommend that you add some elasticity as strike absorber. By adding 5- 6 meters of mono at the end of the line, again with a n Uni-knot (see drawing). If trolling in clear water conditions it may be necessary to add 20- 30 meters of mono leader.
FISHING TECHNIQUES
Dynamite can be used in any fishing discipline, but is best suited for situations that require strong lines as opposed to the "finesse" presentation:
Lure fishing: Dynamite will allow you to cast further and "work" a lure action better than with mono.
Carp-fishing: with Dynamite you can achieve longer casts due to it's its high-strength and for low-diameter. Dynamite will also lay lie very well on the lake bottom, preventing the chance of "spooking" fish!
Surf casting: enjoy your longest casts with excellent bite detection.
Rock Fishing: the lack of stretch will allow you to stop fish in their tracks when fishing close to snags!
Boat fishing: here there are many advantages using Dynamite, low stretch for better bite detection and hooking, reduced drag in strong tide flows and a better "feel" of your rig when drift fishing.
Ice fishing: It is not sensible to use Dynamite is not sensible to use in freezing conditions and it is not recommend for Ice fishing.
Trolling: the fine diameter allows more line to be stored on the reel than conventional mono!
Fly fishing as backing: when a large backing line capacity is needed on modern large arbor reels!
Length/depth colour coding: The yellow Mustad UltraBraid Dynamite has a property properties that has have been long sought for by many groups types of anglers. It is possible to mark the line with a Permanent Marker, with different colours every 5 or 10 meters . This allows the trolling angler to easily identify the length of line used, or for the deep sea angler to revert to the depth where he had the last bite (or the depth to the fish shown on the fish finder.
