Oh happy day! I was hoping this feature would come soon. Thanks guys! Uniques really is that “snapshot” figure we are looking for when we log in. That is super handy…Statcounter never ceases to amaze

Unique Visitors is more important that PageViews I think so this is a great feature. Pageviews are important once the unique is on the site but that’s a whole other chapter.

We love this new Unique Visitors option…….the StatCounter Team continues to meet the needs of their customers…….they are # 1

Good news another silent feature by statcounter.com but useful thanks statcounter team again to keep us more informative and helping us more
May 25th, 2009 at 12:47 pm
Excellent, this is way better because it gives you a better picture of how many true visitors have been to the website.
It also gives you more incentive to get more hits on your website when you see how many you REALLY had.
May 25th, 2009 at 5:32 pm
Nice! The StatCounter just keeps improving. Actually I’ve always wanted to use unique visitors on my charts for more accuracy. Also when people ask me regarding how many visitors do I get to my websites, they’re usually interested in the uniques and not the pageloads.
Just tested and it works nicely.
May 25th, 2009 at 5:35 pm
It’s a good option that help us to know how much unique visitors came on our sites/blogs and the good thing is that it shows on the home page (my projects) and for me i would prefer to check the first site stat which have more unique visitors
Thanks to Statcounter team again
May 26th, 2009 at 12:35 pm

Have been using Statcounter for years now, and is a major factor in winning new clients and it’s so visual and easy to understand compared with other boring ‘Matrix’ style options… Genius, keep up the amazing work

I used statcounter its a remarkable tool in SEO thanks to statcounter team again
May 29th, 2009 at 1:13 pm
Thanks for this new option, statcounter stands apart from the rest.
BTW, Not sure if it might help and it is feasible but I think there might be a need for people to have a system that deals with reciprocal links.
Maybe create a site that by adding a piece of code into your site will automatically add, check and delete backlinks automatically so as to enable people to trade links with minimum effort.
Providing stats to show which links bring in more traffic, possible PR value etc etc, the sky’s the limit.
I know there is software/sites that do some of it but they all take tons of time/effort and trackbaks are too easy to misuse.
Just an idea..

I still can not believe how come you people are innovating when there is hardly any competition for you. You people are simply the market leaders. Cheers to you. Looking forward to more of your innovations

I did not know about that new function before reading your post. I will go and check it out now. Thanks for continuing to evolve the product.

A great addition.
I use two services for stats and you were my first.
I use both for different reasons, and you are first-rate.
Congrats on the new feature and I highly recommend statcounters, even for small-time bloggers like me.
Your customer service is exceptional.
Also, for new Statcounter users, if you ever have a glitch, give it a couple hours.
Two times, Statcounter was doing some work on its site and I was impatient and bothered them with queries. They responded to each one but I wasted their time.
All my stats were still there. Nothing changed.
It’s a great service. It’s precise.

Excellent change! Earlier to get the number of visitors, one had to open the project, go to pageload activity and then see, now it can be seen in the summary itself.

I’ve been with StatCounter for many years and have always thought it to be an outstanding site. This is another great service!
June 2nd, 2009 at 11:36 pm
I have to say - Statcounter is one of my favourite sites online!
It is so easy to use and there is so much information you can get from the statistics it provides.
Keep up the excellent work !

Gerry

Yeah, agreed. Statcounter is by far heads above the rest especially in terms of providing free stats. I’d love to know how many convert to paying…i’d think its pretty high.

Both features are important when you analyze your statistics. Unique visitors and page views gives you an idea how many visit your site and how many pages are visited. You hope that each unique visitors browses through more than one page.
June 13th, 2009 at 12:02 am
Another great addition from the statcounter team!!!
June 14th, 2009 at 6:29 pm
Does that mean the logs are changed so that the 500 limit is reached later, than if pageloads is selected ?
June 25th, 2009 at 11:23 am
Usually, I only lurk around blogs, but this post made me have to say something. Great job bro!
