DS1 through OC-192 point to point service between A and Z locations
Pacific LightNet is equipped to provide clear channel point to point service on all six major islands in
Hawaii. We are equipped to provide DS1, DS3, OC-3, OC-12, OC-48, and OC-192 clear channel connectivity.
Depending upon the size of the connection and the desired location, we make every attempt to provide this
service on our own fiber network. We also provide muxing services for higher speed connections as well.
TDM Voice and VoIP Termination
Voice termination to all six major islands in the 808 area code and the 834 lata
Pacific LightNet provides both TDM and VoIP termination services to all six major islands and to all of the
local exchanges included in the 808 area code. We can provide T1, PRI, DS3, and higher connectivity for TDM
services and tandem switching. We also provide VoIP termination via IP through our Cisco gateways. We can
provide these services with or without transport. Pacific LightNet is equipped to pick up the circuit in LA
or hand it off here in Honolulu.
Inter-Island Connectivity
Redundant undersea fiber connectivity between all six major Hawaiian islands
Pacific LightNet provides high quality undersea fiber connectivity between the major islands in Hawaii. We
can provide point to point connectivity via SONET or DWDM wavelengths from DS1 to OC-192. We also can provide
virtual rings to all major islands for carriers that need to move higher amounts of traffic between the
various islands. Pacific LightNet can provide OC-3, OC-12, OC-48, and OC-192 rings as required.
Racks, Cabinets, or Cages
Pacific LightNet maintains collocation facilities at two locations on Oahu and one location on the Big Island.
Each collocation facility is unique in its purpose and capabilities. We provide rack, cabinet, and cage
space as required in all three. All three facilities are equipped with both AC and DC power, generator
backup, redundant air conditioning, and the latest in fire suppression. We can provide a full range of
services and connectivity including smart hands if needed.
