If you enrolled BEFORE December 27, 2009:
You will need to activate your policy through the Trupanion Policyholder Area to add more pets. You will need your Vetinsurance policy number, the last name you used at enrollment, and the postal code used for enrollment. Then you can sign in to the Policyholder Area and continue the process.

Here's how to make a pet health insurance claim:

Both you and your veterinarian will need to complete our one page claim form. The form is then faxed or mailed to Vetinsurance with a copy of your receipt. If the claim form is incomplete it will be returned to you for additional information.

We may request a full history from your veterinarian(s). If we request additional information, the approval will be delayed until we have all the requested information. Have questions? Contact Us.
