It can be used to improve team communications, more efficiently manage projects and allows setup of applications like wikis for group sharing and knowledge distribution. SharePoint also includes options for workflow rules, task management, alerts and notifications plus full sharing of calendars and contacts across team or company.
Hosted SharePoint Services are available with any active Hosted Exchange 2007 account from $15.00 per month with unlimited subsites and standard templates available.
