Refund and Cancellation Policy for Unfair Advantage
We pledge to make
every reasonable effort to solve any problem you may have with our data and
software upon subscription. If necessary, we will send or make available
replacement copies, free of charge, to correct defects. If cancellation is
required, our refund/cancellation policy, stated in the following paragraphs, will
apply.
Refund Policy:
CSI warrants each CD and manual to be free of defects in materials and
workmanship for 90 days from the date of purchase. CSI will replace any
defective disk or CD-ROM during the warranty period. Replacement is the
exclusive remedy for any such defects, and CSI shall have no liability for any
other damage. In the event the licensee cannot satisfactorily install the
UA software, he or she agrees to accept in-depth telephone assistance from a
qualified CSI Customer Service Representative. In consideration of the
massive historical reserves received through UA, the licensing fee is
non-refundable. In addition, because of start-up costs to CSI, prepayment
for each year of use is required to cover costs. In the event of a refund
request before the full one-year subscription term expires, monthly user fees
are short-rated at double the monthly fee per full or partial month from
inception of the current subscription term.
Cancellation Policy:
Please be advised that your data account will continue to be updated and billed until a cancellation notice is given either verbally or in writing. Notice must be given 30 days prior to the effective date to avoid additional charges. In the event an account is canceled before the first initial download a full refund will be issued less a $25.00 set up/handling fee.
