The International Team of multilingual specialists are devoted specifically to assisting in the resolution of international family abduction matters, including

• Incoming and outgoing international family abduction cases
• Abduction prevention
• Abduction-in-progress matters
• Cases involving Hague signatory countries and non-Hague signatory countries.

The International Team works each case on an individual and fact-specific basis coordinating with U.S. and foreign Central Authorities, government agencies, and law enforcement officers to

• Locate missing children
• Assist searching parents in obtaining legal counsel and other resources to seek the return of or access to the child
• Provide ongoing support
• Provide legal technical assistance to attorneys

The International Team is part of the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children's Family Abduction Unit, a group dedicated to handling domestic and international family abduction matters.
