The Queen Elizabeth Park is a 2 hectare (130 acre) park located south of Vancouver's downtown area.  At 167m (505 ft) above sea level, it the the highest point in the City of Vancouver.  From the lookout, visitors can enjoy a fabulous view that overlooks Vancouver, the ocean and the snowcapped mountains on the North Shore.

Originally a stone quarry, Queen Elizabeth Park was established in the 1950s.   Beautiful flower gardens and a pitch & putt golf course are featured.  The Bloedel Conservatory, a geodesic dome situated at the summit was added in 1969 and presents vegetation from around the world.
