Ideally located along Southport’s Historic Waterfront, Lois Janes is the perfect setting to relax and unplug from the rest of the world. Sit back on one of our porches and watch ship pass while the sounds of terns and laughing gulls fill the otherwise quiet air.
Carefully restored and established as a bed and breakfast in the mid 1990s, the home feels much the way it did a century ago. Classic Southport architecture furnished with period antiques and family Heirlooms. We offer 4 bedrooms in the main home with 2 additional suites in our guest cottage, all with access to the best porches in town!
Life is different in Southport, “Laid Back” people say hello, good morning and thank you. It’s Southern Hospitality at its finest and there’s no better place to enjoy this than here with us. Best of All, once you arrive most everything Southport has to offer can be found on foot, virtually eliminating the need to drive. Waterfront Restaurants, Antiques, Coffee Shops and endless views of the Cape Fear are all at your front door.
