North Atlantic Technical (NAT) – AMTECH's Marine Career Training Institute of North America (MCTINA)

450 hour Entry-Level Technician

Workshop Fee Schedule Below

Complete this course at night in nine-months or take the fast-track program during the day and finish in three months. What makes the NAT-MCTINA program different from traditional programs - we concentrate on teaching the skills that make a technician valuable from DAY ONE!

Being that AMTECH is closely involved with the boating industry, we maintain an active role with our student's employer to make sure we are providing the type of training that is needed in the industry. We don't only want to place our students for employment; we want them to stay employed.

The Association of Marine Technicians (AMTECH) is proud to announce its association with North Atlantic Technical for a new entry-level marine technology center for its education division, the Marine Career Training Institute of North America (MCTINA).

The school is located at: 167 Marion Road (Route 6), Wareham, MA 02571
Telephone: AMTECH/MCTINA (800) 467-0982; NAT (508) 858-0606;

We know the number one issue when hiring a marine technician, both entry-level and veterans, is for them to have the necessary skills to make an impact upon accepting employment. Industry surveys show that many graduating students entering the industry today do not possess specific skills needed to be profitable for their employer in a reasonable period of time. NAT-MCTINA programs address these needs and technicians who complete these workshops will have the skills necessary to make an immediate impact when hired. AMTECH works closely with marine dealerships all across North America in order to stay abreast of what the industry needs from their technicians. All NAT-MCTINA participant's employment records are monitored after the hire to insure that our placements are meeting the needs of the employer.

This is 'Real-Life' training by instructors who make a living in marine service. The training is conducted in an actual marine service facility, and all students will learn by going through the actual duties and responsibilities of a marine technician working in a business atmosphere.
