This is a pair of ornate metal boots, awarded to knights of Genua upon attainment of their position. They are forged with overlapping plates across the front, but they don't look particularly effective - they would seem to be largely for ceremonial use rather than for protection in the heat of battle. There is an eagle grasping a rose in its claws on the front plate.
It appears to have something written on it.
Written in highly ornate script:
Whoso wears this hallowed armour is recognised as a member of the Holy Order of the Knights of Genua.
The pair of ornate metal boots is about a foot long and four inches wide. It is made of steel and could be worn as armour.
