SYNOPSIS: In September 1952, David Kempton's world was about to come apart. David's estranged wife, Barbara, disappeared along with their young daughter.

David had temporary custody of both the couple's children, Steven, six years old, and Donna, almost four. Barbara received weekend visitation rights. But just before the first weekend that Barbara would take the children, she called David. David claims that Barbara said she was living in a rooming house and couldn't accommodate both children. She asked if she could just take Donna. David agreed and that Friday dropped Donna off as planned. On Sunday evening, when David returned to pick up Donna, he discovered that Barbara and Donna were gone.

David was devastated, having no way of knowing where they might have gone. More than 40 years have passed and David is still searching for his daughter. He wants her to know that no matter what, she has always been an important part of him.
