(Please indicate with your submission if the rights to a manuscript belong to another publication, so the appropriate online credit will be given.)
Especially For Country Writers
O Shenandoah! Country Rag accepts and encourages the submission of unsolicited essays, articles, poems and short stories by new or established writers. Manuscripts for review and publication need to be related to country living (particularly but not exclusively in Virginia's Shenandoah Valley) and will appear in either the "Country Reckoning" or "A Rustic Refrain" section, whichever is most content-appropriate. Please send inquiries and short (under 2000 words, preferably in plain-text email-attachment format) manuscripts to harrisj@shentel.net.
